Abstract: This paper further analyzes the organizational structure of vector spatial data in Oracle Spatial and structural characteristic of abstract data type SDO_GEOMETRY. And a encryption system of spatial data has been designed on this basis. This system will select the field to be encryption granularity and 3DES to be spatial data encryption algorithm. In the management of key, the paper fully combines the advantages between non-symmetric encryption algorithm and symmetric encryption algorithm. Asymmetric encryption algorithm RSA is used to protect the field key of 3DES algorithm,which is used to encrypt spatial data. Regarding encryption for the spatial index, a R-tree encryption method is presented, which selects the node as encryption granularity and DES as encryption algorithm, can greatly reduces the amount of data required to decrypt for each query, makes the encrypted R-tree index still keeps the highly effective query performance.
