Abstract: A low cost IP-Zigbee gateway for communications between Internet and Zigbee is developed. The approaches to design of hardware and software are proposed. The architecture of IP-Zigbee gateway is base on two MCUs. The reduced TCP/IP stacks are implemented using C8051F340. The CP2200 is used to connect to the Internet. And with Zigbee module of CC2430，communicating with wireless sensor network is realized.
