Abstract: In petrochemical plants, cracking furnace is the core equipment of the ethylene production process. As the main element of the cracking furnace, furnace bears odious function of carburization environment and inflicts failure of furnace, causing the accidents. Studies at home and abroad find that exciting circuit of detecting probe has larger effect on detecting precision. Therefore, finite element software- ANASYS is used to simulate exciting circuit of detecting probe and analyze the distribution of incentive magnetic field in direction of furnace tube wall thickness within different incentive frequencies. Conclusions by numerical simulation are applied to optimize incentive magnetic circuit and improve detecting precision.
