Abstract: As a control method, a routine fuzzy controller can stabilize the inverted pendulum system, but the control performance is poor, one of the reasons is that the routine fuzzy controller doesn’t have the features of self-adapting, self-learning, and self-organizing. In this paper, the dimensions of input varieties of a fuzzy controller are depressed by designing a fusion function using the optimization control theory. The rules of fuzzy controller is self-adapting by the online-adjustment of the parameter variations, so the system performance is improved. At last the Matlab simulation experiments show this fuzzy control arithmetic is effective.
