Abstract: There is big difference between East and West in cultural; this difference spreads to all respects, even in software user interface design. However, the majority of western software’s Chinese version isn’t really Chinese version, the manufacture translates the software’s writing as Chinese directly, doesn’t change the user interface, so is the software Rhino. As a result, many Chinese users feel very inconvenient in understanding and using this western software’s Chinese version, so the software user interface isn’t a bridge in communication between user and software. The designers should design of targeted for taking the user as center when they are carrying on the software user interface design.
