Abstract: The integrated optimization of high-speed ship navigation performance is a complicated engineering problem, and the parallel genetic algorithm is one of the methods to improve efficiency. This paper proposes a piecewise interval based on sensitive variables of traditional parallel genetic algorithm, considered the fitness function and the distance between different optimization results, and made an improved parallel genetic algorithms. The application in an integrated optimization problem of high-speed ship navigation performance indicates that the improved parallel genetic algorithm is reliable and efficient.
