Abstract: We have developed the computer-aided transmission error detection and analysis system (CADAS), on the basis the analysis of the theory of the error measurement instruments to the traditional gear transmission chain and the application of the CRT. The paper describes the structure, theory and characteristics of this system, which is verified by the test of Y38 hobber gear transmission system. The results show that this system is with high accuracy, friendly interface and easy operation.
