Abstract: Using the intersection of the targets’ moving direction and the baseline as the reference point, a bistatic system model of a slowly fluctuating moving point target is established by employing the distance between the target and the reference point, the angle between the target moving direction and the baseline, the ratio in which the baseline is divided by reference point and the length of baseline as arguments in this paper. Without loss of generality, the model is established with any moving target as object study. Especially, for low elevation target, the resolution of its velocity is not needed, and reference point target and hypothesized point target can be selected in same ground plane, it makes the calculation of ambiguity function simplified greatly.
