Abstract: Three-dimensional images acquisition software and the process of acquiring CCD image data in the Mobile Mapping System (MMS) are introduced in the paper. The principle method and process of adjusting the brightness of images in the Mobile Mapping System is deeply analyzed. By participating in the project manually, we summed up the limitations exposed in the mode of adjusting the brightness of images, which will lay a solid theoretical basis for studying the auto-exposure system.
