Abstract: |
The article submits detailed opinions on the protection in the automobile side impact according to the passenger injury mechanism that the automobile side impact caused and the analysis to the passenger injury in the automobile side impact. They are: using new materials, adding the side impact beam, strengthening A,B,C pillar, adding pad in the design of door trim, adding side impact air bag restraint system, and so on. These measures can achieve an objective of absorbing the injury energy between the passenger and the interior room of the car, as well as lowering the risk of injuries by means of ensuring the passenger’s livingspace after the car deformatis in the side impact.
