Abstract: he motion output, degree of freedom, and forward position equations of parallel mechanism 3-RCR were analyzed. Based on the forward position equations, the Jacobian matrix was obtained. According to the Jacobian matrix, Singularity and effect factors are studied. According to Chinese word need of carving, the simple model of the plane carving machine was designed, and simulation was carried out using ADAMS software based on converse kinematics theory. The research provided new machine for future application
