Abstract: To solve the Cl2 flow control problem which is difficult to detect and control in PVC production process, bring forward the basic idea – weight-loss rate method. Weight-loss rate method to measure the flow is using variation of the weight in a period of time for flow measurement, it is using the weight difference and the exact timing to obtain flow. It is analysis the application of weight-loss rate method in flow measurement and control. It is armed at how to balance real-time and accuracy problems proposed a solutions - dynamic time window design. A new kind of flow controller is designed based on Weight-loss rate method. Solved the problem that Cl2 in PVC production process need to accurately measure flow and difficult to control.
