Abstract: Precise Point Positioning (PPP) is a method that non-difference carrier phase observations, precise ephemeris and precise satellite clock error are all used to do the single point position calculation, it can achieve decimeter-level even centimeter-level precision. Because this approach needs only one GPS receiver and can obtain high-precision coordinates of ITRF framework, so it has brilliant prospects in the high-precision navigation and positioning and orbit determination for LEO satellites. This paper introduces GPS Precise Point Positioning technology systematically based on the development of GPS. Precise Point Positioning Principle and its development as well as the model of the observations and error sources have also been discussed in this paper.
