Abstract: With the constantly advancing of the smart grid construction, the construction of smart power utilization used in distribution network has been placed on the agenda. This paper introduces the smart power utilization technology and its research status. With the application of real-time electricity price, distributed generation and energy storage devices, the influences of the smart power utilization on the distribution network are discussed in detail. And the opinion that the construction of smart power utilization system and microgrid should be synchronized is pointed out. Finally some suggestions on the construction of smart power utilization in China are given.
