Abstract: To deal with large quantity of non-steady-state high temperature waste heat generated during electric arc furnace (EAF) metallurgical process, we should use the economical water - carbon steel pipe steam generating equipment and system, study rational multi-unit modular structure and strong shock wave cleaning method to solve the ash block, wear, corrosion, thermal stress and other issues, effectively reducing exhausted gas temperature from 1,000 ℃ to 180 ℃, entering the follow-up stage of dust removal and standard emissions. The ultimate purpose is to make use of waste heat and save energy.
