Abstract: By analyzing the problems and inconvenience of spinning process in textile enterprises, a spinning process management system was developed based on network and Web technology. The system included data acquisition subsystem and spinning process management subsystem. Data acquisition subsystem, based on industrial Ethernet, is constructed by using PLC, the eView MT5300C Ethernet touch screens and OLE for Process Control (OPC) technology. Spinning process management subsystem, based on B/S (Browser/Server) mode, is constructed with Web server, history/real database server and browser, and its function modules were introduced.
