In order to meet the requirement of equipment management in textile industry, a research was made on equipment management system of MES in textile industry. First, the requirement details of a textile industry’s equipment management were analyzed, the system architecture was build, and three layer construction of the system was discussed. Accordingly, the system functional model was told and the functional modules were discussed detail by detail. Furthermore, the equipment management system of MES in textile industry was developed by computer program and database technology. The characteristic of system was discussed finally. The system has been well used in a textile industry, because its development was based on the industry’s actual requirement.
