Abstract: The decision of the fourth plenary sessions of the Seventeenth Central Committee raised explicitly the scientific proposition of “the advancement of Marxism’s chinesization, modernization and popularization”. In the conference Marxism’s chinesization, modernization and popularization were firstly combined together to emphasize the wholeness of “the three-nizations”, which is a scientific summary of the successful experience of our party's ideological and theoretical development as well as the new knowledge of the nature of Marxist theory. This paper illustrates the essential attributes and contents of Marxism’s chinesization, modernization and popularization taking people as masters of the society and subjects of practice. To achieve the chinesization, modernization and popularization of Marxism, the class nature and service to the people of Marxist theory should be profoundly recognized and the end point that maintain the fundamental and long-term interests of the overwhelming majority of the Chinese people should not be departed.
