Abstract: With fingerprint uniqueness and invariance of the fingerprint’ two biometric and in view of the current status quo of examination management, a personal verification system in examination was designed based on fingerprint recognition technology. The design ideas of the system were analyzed in details by fully into account the system’s real-time and automation. The design frame structure of the system was provided in details. The key technologies used in the system for developing the system’s functions were fully introduced. The FUS-200N Fingerprint Sensor was used in the system to collect fingerprint data, and the fingerprint database was established. The Fingerprint Database Management Interface was designed, which is beneficial for the updating and maintenance of the fingerprint data. The fingerprint collection, fingerprint feature extraction, fingerprint matching and fingerprint verification were realized in the form of man-machine interface. The student identification’s accuracy in examinations can be improved by using the system, and can be effectively put an end to the examination on behalf of exam cheating, for example exam instead and so on.
