Education Gap in Japanese Social

ABSTRACT

After entering 2000, Japan’s social class solidification and education gap have attracted more and more attention. The increasingly close relationship between the birth class and the final educational background has aroused the general dissatisfaction and worry of the public about the current social mobility mechanism, which is bound to affect the fairness and stability of Japan’s future society. From the perspective of widening economic capital gap, this paper investigates the current situation of education gap in Japan.
