ABSTRACT

Nowadays, analyzing the world and all the media exposure on gender issues relating politics, religion, family, education and professional aspects, we observe that the presentation of the subject is always the gender inequality. Does the power domination direct stake in gender issues? Bourdieu already said in his work “Male domination”, that inequality is affirmed only in the domination of one over the other and in the creation of hierarchies. In our study, we apply a reflection according to critical theorists on a theme much sought, but not practiced in society.
