Special Issue on Thermodynamics of Materials

Thermodynamics of Materials is a branch of material science which is related to heat and energy exchange of materials. It defines properties of materials in the systems of heat balance and laws of energy balance. Thermodynamics of materials consists mainly of phase transition theory, solidification theory, thermodynamic of crystal growth, phase rules of materials, and so on. Most researches on thermodynamics of materials are theoretical studies, which can serve as guidelines on the development of new functional materials.

This special issue aims at providing a platform for scientists and academics all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of thermodynamics of materials. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Phase transition thermodynamic of materials
  • Solidification thermodynamic of materials
  • Crystallization thermodynamic of materials
  • Homogeneous equilibrium of materials
  • Polyphase equilibrium of materials
  • Specific heat of materials

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Thermodynamics of Materials’’ should be chosen during your submission.

According to the following timetable:

Submission Deadline
