Special Issue on Materials Applied in Aviation and Spaceflight
Development of materials applied in aviation and spaceflight is the fundamental of the progress of aviation and spaceflight. Many advanced materials, such as advanced composites, high temperature-resistant structural materials, functional materials for informatics, and smart materials, are resulted from the demands of aviation and spaceflight technology. To some extent, the development of aviation and spaceflight drives the evolution of material science. Along with the advancement of the age, aviation and spaceflight put forward new challenges and new issues to material science continuously.
This special issue aims at providing a platform for scientists and academics all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of materials applied in aviation and spaceflight. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
High temperature-resistant structural materials applied in aviation and spaceflight
-
Advanced composites applied in aviation and spaceflight
-
Functional materials for informatics applied in aviation and spaceflight
-
Smart materials applied in aviation and spaceflight
-
