Special Issue on Big Data Processing

Big Data is the information assets that with high volume, high velocity, and high variety. The sizes of big data are a constantly moving target, which disturbs the ability of commonly used software tools to capture, analyze, manage and process the data within a tolerable elapsed time. Therefore, the new forms of big data processing methods are needed to enable enhanced decision making, insight discovery and process optimization.

Big data processing technologies can be applied to a wide variety of sectors as well as departments. Facing with the information explosion and rapid development of information technologies, the research on big data processing will be more urgent and promising.    

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring big data processing. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Data mining
• Big data storage
• Big data management
• Big data processing for scientific discovery
• Big data processing for scientific decision-making
• Data processing applications
• Quantitative analysis of big data
• Database management system

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Big Data Processing” should be chosen during your submission.
