    Special Issue on Humanistic Psychology

     

    This special issue is a forum for the analysis of humanistic psychology. This approach distinct from the two more traditional approaches which are, psychoanalysis and behaviorism, it emphasizes an individual's inherent drive towards self-actualization and creativity. It is largely responsible for new approaches towards human capital stressing creativity and human wholeness. Issues relating to humanistic psychology, including self-actualization, human potential, holistic approach, human being, free will, subjectivity, human experience, self-determination, spirituality, creativity, positive thinking, client-centered and context-centered approach, empathy, personal growth are published in this special issue. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of humanistic psychology.

     

    In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring humanistic psychology. The topics to be covered by this special issue include, but are not limited to:

     

    • Maslow's theory
    • Hierarchy of needs
    • Self theory
    • Consistency of psychology and essence
    • Development of the field
    • Counseling and therapy
    • Humanistic social work

     

    Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

     

    Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Humanistic Psychology” should be chosen during your submission.
