Special Issue on Grid Computing
Grid Computing is distributed computing. It is a computer science. It studies how to divide a problem which requires very large computing power into many smaller parts, and then assigns these parts to many computers for processing, finally integrates all the results of calculations to reach a common goal. There are two goals of designing grid, one is solving the large problems which are too difficult to solve by any single supercomputer, and at the same time, keeping the flexibility for solving multiple smaller problems; the other is making better use of the available computing power in order to meet the needs of large computing exercises. This special issue will be focusing on studying concepts of grid computing, and different grid computing and their applications.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring grid computing. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission, Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Grid Computing” should be chosen during your submission.
