Special Issue on Software Maintenance and Performance Improvement

Software Maintenance is a very broad activity that takes place once the operation is done. It optimizes the solution performance by reducing errors, eliminating useless development and applying advanced development. Solution development can take 1-2 years to build a system while software maintenance management can be an ongoing activity for 15-20 years.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring software maintenance and performance improvement. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Reverse engineering and re-engineering
    • Software refactoring and restructuring
    • Change and defect management
    • Software testing
    • Maintenance and evolution processes
    • Software quality assessment
    • Service oriented and cloud computing

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue – Software Maintenance and Performance Improvement” should be selected during your submission.
