Special Issue on Medical Devices

Medical devices are apparatuses, appliances, instruments, in vitro diagnostic reagents and calibrators, materials and other similar or related items used directly or indirectly for the human body, including computer software that are needed. Medical devices vary according to their intended use and indications. The design of medical equipment constitutes a major segment of the field of biomedical engineering.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring medical devices. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Implantable medical devices
• Wearable medical devices
• Single-use medical devices
• Prosthesis
• Biological evaluation of medical devices
• Medical equipment design

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Medical Devices” should be chosen during your submission.
