Special Issue on WSN for Environmental Monitoring

Wireless sensor network used in environmental monitoring generally have the advantages of simple deployment, low cost, no need to replace batteries in the long run, and no need for on-site maintenance. Through intensive nodes arrangement, microscopic environmental factors can be observed, which provides a new way for environmental research and environmental monitoring. There are many applications in monitoring environmental parameters, such as air pollution monitoring, forest fire detection, landslide detection, Water quality monitoring, and natural disaster prevention.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring WSN for environmental monitoring. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Air pollution monitoring
    • Forest fire detection
    • Agriculture monitoring
    • Water quality monitoring
    • Natural disaster prevention
    • Landslide detection

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – WSN for Environmental Monitoring” should be chosen during your submission.

    According to the following timetable:

    Submission Deadline

    June 19th, 2018

    Publication Date
