Call For Papers

    Special Issue on Chinese Herbal Medicine


    Chinese herbal medicine mainly consists of plant medicine (root, stem, leaf, and fruit), animal medicine (viscera, skin, bone, organ, etc.) and mineral medicine. Chinese herbal medicine has Four Natures and Five Flavors. The Four Natures are hot, warm, cool, cold or neutral, in terms of temperature. The Five Flavors are acrid/pungent, sweet, bitter, sour, and salty. Chinese herbal medicine is used in a variety of forms, such as decoction, powder, pill, plaster, wine, tablet, granule, injection and so on.


    In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring Chinese herbal medicine. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Chemical analysis of the Chinese herbal medicine
    • Pharmacology of Chinese herbal medicine
    • Systematic review of Chinese herbal medicine
    • Chinese herbal medicine in treatment
    • Chinese herbal extracts
    • Chinese medicinal plants

    Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

     

    Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Chinese Herbal Medicine” should be chosen during your submission.
