Special Issue on Environmental Quality
The environment directly affects health status and plays a major role in quality of life, years of healthy life lived, and health disparities. Poor air quality is linked to premature death, cancer, and long-term damage to respiratory and cardiovascular systems. Secondhand smoke containing toxic and cancer-causing chemicals contributes to heart disease and lung cancer in nonsmoking adults. Globally, nearly 25% of all deaths and the total disease burden can be attributed to environmental factors. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of environmental quality.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring environmental quality. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Health impact of environmental quality
-
Environmental quality assessment
-
Environmental quality management
-
Effects of deteriorating air quality
-
Environmental quality standards
-

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
