Special Issue on Cryotherapy
Cryotherapy is a therapeutic method to utilize low temperature to freeze local tissue,
thus leads to necrosis of diseased tissue cells, and achieves the purpose of
treatment. Cryotherapy is widely used to relieve muscle pain, sprains and
swelling either via soft tissue damage or postoperative swelling. Cryosurgery
is a minimally invasive surgery with the feature of minimal pain, scarring, and
cost. However, as with any medical treatment, it has risks since it may damage
the nearby healthy tissues, especially the nerve tissue.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on
exploring cryotherapy. Potential
topics include, but are not limited to:

Prostate cancer cryosurgery

Hepatic cryosurgery

Cutaneous cryosurgery

Whole-body cryotherapy

Cryotherapy in sports medicine

Cryotherapy for retinopathy of prematurity
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective
authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through
the journal’s Paper Submission System.

under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field

should be chosen during your submission.
