Special Issue on Research on Epilepsy

Epilepsy is a central nervous system disorder (neurological disorder) in which nerve cell activity in the brain becomes disrupted, causing seizures or periods of unusual behavior, sensations and sometimes loss of consciousness. Seizure symptoms can vary widely. Some people with epilepsy simply stare blankly for a few seconds during a seizure, while others repeatedly twitch their arms or legs. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in this area of research on epilepsy.

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore research on epilepsy. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Epilepsy symptoms
• Epilepsy triggers
• Causes of epilepsy
• Diagnosing epilepsy
• Epilepsy treatment
• Epilepsy medications
• Epilepsy and behavior

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue – Research on Epilepsy” should be selected during your submission.
