Special Issue on Traffic Control and Management

Traffic control uses modern communication facilities, signaling devices, sensors, monitoring equipment and computers to accurately organize, regulate and control the running vehicles so that they can run safely and smoothly. Taking scientific and reasonable measures to effectively control and manage traffic, which plays an important role in organization, command and control of traffic flow and maintenance of the traffic order.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring traffic control and management. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Traffic control
• Transport planning
• Modes of transport
• Traffic management
• Urban traffic system
• Traffic signal control
• Intelligent Transport System
• Traffic control modeling and simulation

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
