    Special Issue on Public Relations


    Public relations (PR) is the practice of managing the spread of information between an individual or an organization (such as a business, government agency, or a nonprofit organization) and the public. Public relations may include an organization or individual gaining exposure to their audiences using topics of public interest and news items that do not require direct payment. The aim of public relations is to inform the public, prospective customers, investors, partners, employees, and other stakeholders and ultimately persuade them to maintain a positive or favorable view about the organization, its leadership, products, or political decisions.


    In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on public relations Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Corporate social responsibility
    • Social media and public relations
    • Crisis management
    • Internal communication
    • Nonprofit relationship management
    • Marketing activities and strategy
    • Brand building
    • Public relations in online environment

    Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.


    Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Public Relations” should be chosen during your submission.
