Special Issue on Lifelong Learning and Adult
Education
Lifelong learning may be broadly defined as learning that is pursued throughout life;
learning that is flexible, diverse and available at different times and in
different places. Lifelong learning can instill creativity, initiative and
responsiveness in people thereby enhances social inclusion, active citizenship,
personal fulfillment, and employability/adaptability. With the rapidly changing
knowledge being at the heart of what we regard as the knowledge society, we can
see how the focus of education and learning has moved much more to be
responsive to the demands of the global forces. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for
scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss
various new issues and developments in area of lifelong learning and adult education.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on lifelong learning and adult education. Potential topics include, but are not limited

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors

under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field

Adult Education” should be chosen during your submission.
