Special Issue on Unmanned Aerial Vehicles

Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), covering a vast range from tiny civilian-used multirotors to large military combat vehicles, are receiving rapidly growing attention from a variety of areas in recent years. They are compatible of engaging in situations which are difficult or dangerous for manned aircrafts, performing low-cost aerial activities, and transporting small packages, which made them practical in modern world. How we design those aircrafts and how we can use it has become a hot topic.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Design of fixed-wing UAVs and unmanned rotorcrafts
• Types and structures of unmanned aerial vehicles
• Sensors and technical payloads
• Aircraft remote control and automatic stabilization
• Potential usages of unmanned aerial vehicles
• Airspace management and privacy issues

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Unmanned Aerial Vehicles” should be chosen during your submission.
