Special Issue on Intestinal Microecology and Health

Intestinal microecology consists of four components-the luminal gastrointestinal tract, secretions of the tract, the epithelium, nutrients and foods that enter the tract, and the microbatome or microflora. This ecosystem is very dynamic. Besides, it plans an important role in nutrient metabolism, human development, immunization and disease.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring intestinal microecology and health.Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Species of intestinal flora
• Physiological function of intestinal microecology
• Microecological equilibrium
• Influence factors
• Health and disease

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue – Intestinal Microecology and Health” should be selected during your submission.
