Special Issue on Provider-Patient Relationship

The provider–patient relationship is central to the practice of healthcare and is essential for the delivery of high-quality health care in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. The doctor–patient relationship forms one of the foundations of contemporary medical ethics. Most universities teach students from the beginning, even before they set foot in hospitals, to maintain a professional rapport with patients, uphold patients’ dignity, and respect their privacy.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring provider-patient relationship. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Social reason for tense provider-patient relationship
• Limitations of medical technology
• Attitudes of medical staff
• Medical management
• Patient complaint and maintenance rights
• Constructing harmonious provider-patient relationship

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.
