    Special Issue on Balance Problems

Balance problems are conditions that make us feel unsteady or dizzy. When standing, walking or lying down, it may be accompanied by feelings of giddiness, or wooziness, or having a sensation of movement, spinning, or floating. The balance problems are often due to problems in the inner ear. The problems in other parts of the body such as the brain or the heart can also be the cause. Aging, infections, head injury, certain medicines, or problems with blood circulation may result in a balance problem.
