    Special Issue on Discrete Wavelet Transforms


    Discrete wavelet transform algorithms have become standard tools for discrete-time signal and image processing in several areas in research and industry. Its key advantage over more traditional transforms, such as the Fourier transform, lies in its ability to offer temporal resolution, which could captures both frequency and location/time information.


    In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring discrete wavelet transforms. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:


    • Modeling and simulation recognition
    • Assessment of agitation and sedation
    • Wavelet series
    • Wavelet compression
    • Wavelet entropy
    • Wavelet functions
    • Applications


    Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.


    Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Discrete Wavelet Transforms” should be selected during your submission.
