Special Issue on Doping and Sports
The use of performance-enhancing substances - such as alcohol, ether, strychnine, anabolic steroids, stimulants, and hallucinogenic mushrooms - by athletes has a long history, predating the ancient Greek Olympiads. Many sports organizations have inhibited the use of doping and have very strict rules and penalties for people who are caught using them. The goal of this Special Issue is to provide a platform for scientists worldwide to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of doping and sports.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring doping and sports. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Epidemiological issues
-
Prevention health promotion
-
Models and actions in different countries
-
Genetic doping
-
Hidden drugs in foods and drinks
-
Anti-doping policies
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Doping and Sports” should be selected during your submission.
