    Special Issue on Drug Dependence

Drug Dependence is regarded as a severe medical problem. It refers to the psychological or physical dependence, or both, on a certain drug, arising in a person’s administration of that drug on a periodic or continuous basis. Genetic factors, individual choices and environmental influences are involved in drug dependence. Researchers have used various approaches to study the cause, prevention and treatment.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring drug dependence. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Drug dependence
    • Physical and psychological dependence
    • Dialectical behavior therapy
    • Mechanisms and dynamics
    • Drug withdrawal and tolerance
    • Self-administration of drug use
    • Genetic and environmental influence

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Drug Dependence” should be selected during your submission.
