Special Issue on Thermal and Fluid Science

Thermal-Fluids Sciences involves the application of experimental techniques and mathematical methods based on principles from physics, fluid and gas dynamics, and heat transfer to the development and operation of energy conversion systems, such as solar panels, wind turbines, and internal combustion engines.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Thermal and Fluid Science. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Heat and mass transfer
• Thermodynamics and fluid mechanics
• Forced, natural or mixed convection in reactive or non-reactive media
• Single or multi-phase fluid flow with or without phase change
• Near- and far-field radiative heat transfer
• Combined modes of heat transfer in complex systems
• Multiscale modeling
• Hydrodynamic stability
• Aerothermodynamics of internal flow
• Turbulence modeling
• Thermophysical properties of matter

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
