Special Issue on Photosynthesis and Carbohydrate Metabolism
Photosynthesis is a chemical process through which plants, some bacteria and algae, produce glucose and oxygen from carbon dioxide and water, using only light as a source of energy.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring photosynthesis and carbohydrate metabolism. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Leaves and leaf structure
-
The nature of light
-
Chlorophyll and accessory pigments
-
Chloroplast and photosynthetic membranes
-
Carbon fixation (C3 and C4) and photorespiration
-
Stages of photosynthesis
-
Light & Dark reactions
-
The carbon cycle
-
Evolution
Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue – Photosynthesis and Carbohydrate Metabolism” should be selected during your submission.
