Special Issue on Forest Ecological and Carbon Cycle

Forest ecosystems make an important contribution to the global carbon budget. This is because of a combination of their potential to capture and store carbon in wood and soil, and their potential to release it if forests are cleared. Many countries and organizations are cautious about promoting carbon sequestration as a means of reducing atmospheric carbon dioxide. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of forest ecological and carbon cycle.

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore forest ecological and carbon cycle. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Carbon   sequestration
  • The role of forests in carbon cycles, sequestration, and storage
  • Carbon storage analysis
  • Forests and the global carbon cycle
  • Forest carbon sequestration effect monitoring
  • Diversity of forest

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Forest Ecological and Carbon Cycle” should be selected during your submission.
