    Special Issue on Grains Nutrition


    Grains are important sources of many nutrients, including dietary fiber, several B vitamins (thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, and folate), and minerals (iron, magnesium, and selenium). Grains and grain foods are staples in the diets of cultures around the world, and have made an important contribution to daily nutrient requirements since cultivation began around 10,000BC.


    In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring grains nutrition. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:


    • Whole grains
    • Refined grains
    • Cereal fiber
    • Glycemic index (GI) of grains
    • Grains and nutrition
    • Grains and health
    • Allergies & Intolerances to grains


    Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.


    Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue – Grains Nutrition” should be selected during your submission.
