Special Issue on Water Quality and Health

The quality of water, whether used for drinking, domestic purposes, food production or recreational purposes has an important impact on health. Water of poor quality can cause disease outbreaks and it can contribute to background rates of disease manifesting themselves on different time scales. Initiatives to manage the safety of water do not only support public health, but often promote socioeconomic development and well-being as well. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of water quality and health.

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore water quality and health. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Water quality detection
• Water quality analysis
• Water quality standards
• Drinking water quality
• Water management
• Water quality pollution
• Environmental water quality
• Water quality assessment

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly note that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title should be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Water Quality and Health” should be selected during your submission.
