Special Issue on Unemployment and Employment
Unemployment occurs
when a person who is actively searching for employment is unable to find work.
Unemployment is often used as a measure of the health of the economy. Unemployment
and underemployment is a social problem, when there is a recession, unequal
supply and demand, layoffs, or technological changes workers are displaced. The
goal of this Special Issue is to provide a platform for scientists worldwide to
promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of unemployment
and employment.
In this
special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit
original research and review articles on exploring unemployment
and employment. Potential topics include, but are not limited
to:

Employment fluctuations and wage rigidity

Labor market and labor force
Authors
should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective
authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through
the journal’s Paper Submission System.
