    Special Issue on Gut Microbiota

     

    Gut Microbiota is the complex community of microorganisms that live in the digestive tracts of humans and other animals, including insects. The gut metagenome is the aggregate of all the genomes of gut microbiota. The gut is one niche that human microbiota inhabit.

     

    In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring gut microbiota. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

     

    • Stomach flora
    • Intestinal flora
    • Gut microbiota in human infants
    • Gut microbiota defense against pathogens
    • Gut microbiota with immune system
    • Host-gut microbiota metabolic interactions
    • Gut-brain axis
    • Alterations in flora balance
    • Role in disease

     

    Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.

     

    Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue – Gut Microbiota” should be selected during your submission.
